As part of its annual academic ceremony on 28 November 2025, the University of Stuttgart awarded an honorary doctorate to Prof. Rolf Radespiel. The laudatory speech was given by Prof. Ewald Krämer.
Rolf Radespiel led subproject 3 together with Ralf Rudnik during the first phase of the FOR 2895 before handing over to Axel Probst upon his retirement. He supported the preparations of the FOR 2895 from the outset and played a key role in supporting the successful application and implementation.
